It has always been my humble effort, to contribute to the society using the skills and resources I possess. As a filmmaker, I have tried to bring the social disparities on a public platform to draw the attention of the Government  towards the serious plight faced by some sections of the society.

A Cleantech Project At Anandwan

Anandwan is a small township located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. It was set up by Dr.Baba Amte to help and provide shelter to the leprosy patients abandoned by their families and society. Power cut was a major problem at Anandwan. It would bring the entire township to a halt. TATA Capital, as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility decided to solve this problem at Anandwan by using renewable energy sources to cater to Anandwan's energy requirements. My job involved talking to the patients, understanding their problems and make a film on how the installation of the Renewable energy project changed lives at Anandwan.

India is one of the fastest growing economies of the world. With the third largest army and a powerful nuclear programme , we are on the verge of becoming a superpower. However, even after 67 years of independence we have not been able to uproot one of the biggest social problem - child labour. And this is precisely why the future of our country is in danger. On the occasion of world child labour day SineVave Team in association with AXIS15 reached out to the slums of Nagpur to know about their grievances. This film is a compilation of our journey to Tandapeth- the infamous child labour hotspot.

The film shows the story of Lakhan, a street vendor and a child labour victim who is working hard so that his only child could afford a quality education. 

The film was officialy selected for the 'Woodpecker International Film Festival'.
